JUXTAPOSITION
DEFINITION :
- A placing or being placed in nearness or contiguity, or side by side; as a juxtaposition of words.
- There's a little conflict between left brain & right brain when you trying to figure out the similarity & differences between this two object.
METAPHOR
- Is a figure of speech in which 2 different things are linked by some similarity.
- Comparison that are obvious are not consider metaphors. Therefore, metaphors occur, when 2
different ideas are being connected in imaginative ways and agreed to be dissimilar at first.
Juxtapose is place side by side.
Juxtaposed is placed side by side often for comparison.
So, a simple explanation for juxtaposition is placing 2 different element to achieve a interactive and comparison visual effect
SIMILES
- A figure of speech in which two fundamentally unlike things are explicitly compared, usually in a phrase introduced by as or like.
A simple pictures tell a thousand words.
Juxtaposition refers to the stimulation of creativity in problem solving, design or other creative pursuit by confronting two unrelated concepts or objects, usually the goal or problem to be solved on the one hand and a randomly selected object or concept on the other. Similar to an oxymoron.
It also can be used in verbally or in text.
